Together with two classmates we created this cathedral over the course of 6 weeks.
I was in charge of building the scene inside of the Unreal Engine. Which meant puzzling together all of the separate parts, as well as the lighting & post-processing. The lighting is fully dynamic and the scene runs great. I made use of instanced static meshes for all of the repeating elements.
I also did some modelling. The two towers are the largest models I made. I worked on a bunch of other, smaller meshes too. I also took care of the unwrapping, the textures and the materials. A simple box projection worked fine to UV map most objects.
I hope you liked it. Feedback is always welcome!
